Art in the Park (AITP) is the Grand Strand’s premier outdoor show and sale, hosted by the oldest art guild in the area, Waccamaw Arts & Crafts Guild (est. 1969). Since 1972, Art in the Park has hosted artists from all over the country working in a variety of mediums. Artists are required to submit original works or reproductions of their original works. The extraordinary success of AITP relates directly to the high quality of the art and fine art crafts that are juried into these shows. Dashing Through The Glow 2-Mile Fun Run/Walk
North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex
Get outdoors and into the holiday spirit at the Dashing Through the Glow 2-Mile Fun Run/Walk at the North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex. The family-friendly event is open to all ages. Participants will make their way through the Great Christmas Light Show at the park dressed in their best holiday themed attire. Prizes will be awarded for best dressed individual and best dressed group or family. Start times will be staggered beginning at 7 p.m. All participants must be inside the sports complex by 6:45 as roads will be closed for the race.

BRITNIC British Car Show

The Grand Strand British Car Club and the Myrtle Beach Pelicans are hosting a car show to spotlight British cars at the Pelicans ballpark this November. The show, which will be limited to the first 55 cars to register, will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 21 at TicketReturn.com field, home of the Myrtle Beach Pelicans. Spectators will have the chance to vote for their favorite car for the People’s Choice award.

The Great Christmas Light Show
North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex -
150 Citizens Circle, North Myrtle Beach, SC
The Great Christmas Light Show is a park-wide lighted celebration that is sure to capture the true spirit of the season! The drive through light show will feature over 2 million lights festively displayed along a 2 mile drive throughout the North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex. Over 500 magical light displays, some up to 55 feet tall, have been custom made for The Great Christmas Light Show. Visitors will experience 30 NEW enchanting animated figures and holiday scenes where the lights will come to life.
Also visit Santa’s Village to enjoy hot chocolate and s’mores, get an up close look at the lights on the Santa Express Train Ride, and, of course, meet Santa! Santa’s Village is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday ONLY from November 27 through December 13. Open Nightly December 18 through 30.

The 51st annual SC State Bluegrass Festival is scheduled November 26-28, 2020 at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center in Myrtle Beach. The family-friendly event will feature performances from The Marksmen, Lonesome River Band, Carolina Blue, Bass Mountain Boys, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, and so many more.

Intracoastal Christmas Regatta
Little River Waterfront
Each year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, locals flock to the waterfront to view this spectacular maritime parade. The flotilla starts at the Little River Inlet at 5pm and travels south, arriving at Dock Holidays Marina at 7pmM. Gather your family and watch the parade as it passes various viewing areas along the waterway.
